Kei Kamara struck yet again as Columbus Crew beat Orlando City 3-0 to condemn the visitors on Saturday night in the MLS and energised their position to fourth in the Eastern Conference standings.
The Sierra Leone striker had a goal and an assist during Columbus’ 3-0 win over Orlando City. He scored 5 minutes later after assisting Justin Meram to score in the 55th minute in front of an announced crowd of 15,655 at Mapfre Stadium.
Higuain opened the scoring in the 32nd minute for Columbus after Ethan Finlay capitalised on a failed clearance by Rafael Ramos and he fed Higuain in front of the net for a nifty back-heel goal.
Ramos was given a red card 2 minutes later for Orlando for a rash foul on Waylon Francis, which started a few skirmishes.
Kamara, 30, has been hot spicy since joining Crew SC this season, as he now totes four goals in six games.
He likes to be the main man and has fully rediscovered his scoring attributes.
Months ago he said, “I’m going to love being the target guy, the center guy holding up the ball and being in the box more for crosses. It’s going to be great.”
“You don’t just stick as one center striker; if I make a run wide and the wide guy makes a run inside and he gets to stay in there.”
