Sierra Leone’s midfielder Abdul Sama Mannah (Pictured) believes he can help Sohag sporting club to upset Petrojet in the round of 32 of the Egyptian FA Cup on March 22.
Mannah, 22, who on September 18, 2014, moved to Egypt to joined Sohag Sporting club, is buoyant about his side chances in this year’s cup competition.
“It a pleasure to be part of this club and us working as a team. Petrojet is one of the big clubs in Egypt so is going to be tough.
“But, we are excited to go away to a neutral venue the multi-purpose Fayoum Stadium the home stadium of Misr El Makasa and try to upset them,” he told footballsierraleone.net.
Sohag is presently fifth in the Egyptian 2nd division group 1 standing – eight points adrift from leaders El Nasr Tadeen.
Ahmad Khalaf’s side have won three of their last five games draw one and losing 2-1 to Madina Monowara yesterday.
He won COFA 2007 best player Award, before moving Mount Zion FC 2008.
Sama in 2009 signed for Medeamaa Sporting club in Ghana helping them to qualify for 1st division 2012.
