Atto Mensah has warned Cameroon that Sierra Leone “have the weapons” to produce a shock in their African Nations Cup qualifier tomorrow Saturday.
Mensah talks exclusively to Football Sierra Leone just after Sierra Leone Thursday training session at the Omnisports stadium in Yaoundé about his plans and what he expects from his players for the crunch encounter against the Lions of Cameroon.
Despite all the uncertainty surrounding who will be leading Leone Stars on Saturday, appointed by the Sports Ministry Coach Atto said: “Its going to be very tough for Cameroon.
“We will try to be very focussed and take our own risks; of course with the precautions of not giving the opponent any space, but we’re facing a great team.
“In order to beat Cameroon, we will have to play a very complete game, despite few problems that we had at home, everyone knows what is expected from us.
“No distraction, the boys are ready you can see all of them are ready, Cameroon are the favourite. We’re just there to try to surprise the Lions with our style of play.”
“We have to try and turn this game around. That is what we will try to do, fight until the end.
