Balıkesirspor Sierra Leone international Alfred ‘Zagalo’ Sankoh (Pictured in action) believes his side can mount a late challenge for the play-off with two vital games remaining.
The Turkish League One side maintained a top six position after winning on Sunday defeating Samsunspor 1-0 at the Ataturk Stadium.
Sankoh, 27, who was introduced in the 82nd minutes against Samsunspor, is clearly enjoying his time despite not having a regular playing time during the second half of the season with the Turkish League 1 side.
When asked about his time since returning to Turkey the 5 ft. 9-inch player said: “Hard work and I can say I enjoyed the first round of our season because I was a regular under our former coach who brought me to the club.
“However, at the moment am happy because we looking to win our next two vital games and enter the play-off for promotion.
“It’s important for us to win our two remaining games.
“I believed in hard work and that is exactly what I’m doing working hard as ever for a better future, Sankoh told footballsierraleone.net
Since joining the club in June 2015 on a two-year deal the former Strømsgodset and Khazar Lankaran midfielder have made 18 appearances for the TFF Lig 1 side.
Balıkesirspor are presently on 46 points from 32 matches and they will be away to Boluspor on Sunday 8 May 2016 in one of the two decisive matches.
