Alhassan Kamara plans to give Orebro SK a huge Allsvenskan 2016 League boost after declaring himself fully fit prior to the new campaign. Kamara (Pictured) has steps up his recovery scoring three goals in five matches for Orebro SK in recent weeks.
Orebro SK will kick off their 2016 season at home against Djurgardens IF on Sunday, April 3.
Boss Alexander Axén is hoping the Sierra Leone international will continue to stay fit after last season’s disappointment.
Kamara is vital to the manager’s plans – he registered 14 goals in 14 appearances towards the end of the 2014 season.
But, the 23-year-old striker was ruled out since early March after picking up ‘Lower body injury’ and was allowed to rest for the whole of 2015 season.
“I have played two training games and three cup games since my return scoring three goals playing against Helsingborg, Djurgarden in the Swedish Cup and Mariehamn in a preseason friendly,” Kamara confirmed to footballsierraleone.net.
Kamara’s absence was keenly felt by his side as they struggled for goals and ended up ninth position in 2015 Swedish-Allsvenskanliga.
Meanwhile, the Former AIK striker will not be available for Sierra Leone African Cup of Nations double header against Gabon.
He said, “I’m fully fit but still waiting for my working permit, its expires this month and the club has applied for a renewal. I will not be able to enter Sweden without working permit.”
