“I know the boys very well, they’re in high spirit and very thirsty for glory.

“After success in Yaoundé, it is almost the same team that eliminated the Cameroon U-23 squad and most of them with 90 minutes of exposure in Khartoum against Sudan, I’m optimistic against Mauritania,” Bah told

The new home-grown emerging stars will be again showcasing their talents in Mauritania for a place in the African Nations Cup Championship (CHAN) to be hosted by Rwanda, the competition designed exclusively for local based players across the continent.

A 27-man delegation will be departing Freetown en-route Guinea for Nouakchott, Mauritania.

Mauritania has also agreed to Sierra Leone’s request for the second leg to be played Nouakchott a week later.

The match was originally scheduled to be held in Sierra Leone, but the Confederation of African football (Caf) still banned matches in Sierra Leone and Guinea.
