Bangura scores first goal for Cacak in 1-1 draw with FK Vojvodina

Sierra Leone midfielder Mustapha ‘Haji’ Bangura scored his first goal in the Serbian Superliga on Friday at the Karađorđe Stadium.

After becoming the fourth Sierra Leonean to play in Serbian top-flight his late goal rescued a point in round 26 in Cacak’s 1-1 draw with Vojvodina.

Cacak fell behind away from home goal from Dejan Meleg in the 71st minutes put the home side ahead.

Bangura, 26, directed his header from a corner kick to cancelled out Dejan Meleg’s opener and secured a point for the visitors in the 90th Minute.

However, Bangura’s side are second but 28 points adrift from league leaders FK Crvena Zvezda.
