Their last-32 ambitions ended on matchday four after losing away 2-1in Spain to Villarreal.
The Sierra Leone skipper was instrumental for his side as Dinamo Minsk get off the mark in Group E to end their five-game losing streak in Europe.
The Czech champions Plzeň are also out after failing to secure the win they needed.
Nenad Adamović scored for Minsk on the rebound after his 93rd-minute spot kick was saved as Plzeň’s round of 32 ambitions were ended.
Villarreal top the group followed by Rapid Wien, both sides are through.
