Capital One Cup third round: Medo Kamara expected to face Chelsea


Sierra Leone international, Mohamed Medo Kamara in photo is expected to face Premier League Leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night in the third round of the Capital One Cup.

The midfielder played for Sierra Leone in their 2-1 and 2-0 defeats to Ivory Coast and DR Congo in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers respectively.

Medo last start for Bolton in the Championship was against Leeds United when they lost 1-0 and was replaced by Feeney in the 82sn minutes. However, he was part of the Bolton side that lost to Wolves but played no part, Dougie Freedman left him on the bench.

Bolton remains fourth from bottom after their midweek victory against Rotherham, Kamara was brought in for Davies in 85 minutes in the Rotherham encounter and that was their first victory in the Sky Bet Championship.

The Leone Stars midfielder was part of the Bolton side that sent local rivals Blackburn to their biggest league defeat last campaign 4-0. Kamara headed Wanderers into the lead with Joe Mason and Jay Spearing adding one apiece either side of the break.
