Ali Badara Kella (pictured) will play no part in Sierra Leone first leg encounter of the African Nations Cup Championship today in Mauritania.
The Kamboi Eagles central attacker has been left out of coach Abdulai Bah’s squad due to illness and the odds are looking that he’ll figure in the second leg tie next week.
Kella trained with the rest of the team before starting feeling ill, coach Bah told footballsierraleone.net from Mauritania today: “Ali Badara Kella is sick but he is recovering now and that is why he is not in the squad today.”
Kalle who sometimes played wide is highly rated and was part of the Eagles squad that ASO Chlef eliminated in Algeria February this year in the CAF confederation cup this year.
He won the premier title with Diamond stars before heading back to Kamboi Eagles, has said hard work, discipline and commitment have contributed to his recent national call-up.
