Debut for Leicester defender Alie Sesay in Yaoundé

Sierra Leone host Cameroon in Yaoundé with 14 players available for selection Leicester defender Alie Sesay, to make his debut for Sierra Leone.

Make or break for Sierra Leone’s Leone Stars in a crunch Africa Cup of Nations qualifier today in Yaoundé at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium kick-off 15Hrs (local time).

Sierra Leone will also play their first match under a new coach following the sacking of Northern Irishman Johnny McKinstry, who was in charge for the first two qualifiers as they went down 2-1 to Ivory Coast and 2-0 against DR Congo.

Sierra Leone has never defeat the Lions of Cameroon and their double will mark the fourth meetings between the nations.

The first was in Freetown 1990 Cameroon held Sierra Leone 1 all, and went on to defeat Sierra Leone 1-nil in Yaoundé 1991 at the same Omnisports Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium.

Sesay is on loan to Colchester United, the 21-year-old has been a regular for the Foxes under-21 side, having captained them for a large part of this season and was in the squad that won the Development League Two North title.

Al Hilal defender David Simbo suspended, Daddy Drogba is expected to join the squad last night.

John Kamara who plies his trade for PAS Lamia returns to coach Atto Mensah first eleven.

Partrick Bantamoi the Finish based keeper, who was a member of the Sierra Leone team that participated in the 2003 Caf and Fifa U-17 championships in Swaziland and Finland, will be on the bench despite earns his first call-up to the senior squad.
