Dumbuya pleased with Thistle turnaround form

Three wins in a row for the first time this season for Mustapha Dumbuya’s Partick Thistle, following their 1-0 victory over Dundee United on Saturday.

The Sierra Leonean right back, who signed for the Jags as a free agent on a one-year contract said he is delighted with his side evolution.

After Saturday’s win, they moved up to eight in the Scottish premiership table.

Dumbuya is enjoying his football again when his side was struggling, the right-back used to take the stick from his mates back home in London at the start of the season.

After putting a run of wins together is all fun for Dumbuya and his mates in recent weeks.

He told footballsierrleone.net “I’m delighted for the team, a great turnaround of spirit from the team, we are scoring goals now and defending really well so the foundations are there for us to move up the table.”

“I’m glad I’m playing and I’m contributing well to the squad.”

They host Ross County next Saturday at their Firhill Stadium.
