Partick Thistle held Aberdeen to a goalless draw on Wednesday night, sharing a point with the host at the Pittodrie Stadium.
Dumbuya’s Thistle was looking very impressive coming into this contest seeking a fifth consecutive victory.
The result leaves the Jags on 24 points and also keeps them in seventh place, with Inverness CT able to leap above them with a win over Hamilton at New Douglas Park.
It wasn’t the greatest of games, however, Sierra Leone right-back Mustapha Dumbuya (pictured) was again very exciting for his Jags side, they are unbeaten in their last six games in the Scottish top flight.
The Sierra Leonean was recently rewarded with a new deal Mustapha Dumbuya signed a contract extension at Partick Thistle until 2018 for his outstanding form since joining the Maryhill side.
Unfortunately, host Aberdeen blew their chance to go top after being held by in-form Jags, however, they move level on points with Celtic at the top of the table, but have an inferior goal difference and have played two more games than the Hoops.
They are away to league leaders Celtic on Saturday 2nd January 2016, before hosting St Mirren on the 9th in the Scottish Cup fourth round tie.
