Dumbuya’s Thistle off bottom two with win over Inverness

Mustapha Dumbuya played the full ninety minutes for his Scottish side Partick Thistle as they defeated Inverness 2-1 at Firhill on Saturday.

Ryan Stevenson’s late winner was enough for the Jags to move out of the bottom two at the expense of their visitors.

This is their third victory from 15 matches in the Scottish top flight.

The Jags came into the game just above the relegation zone.

Ryan Stevenson scored a late winner as Partick Thistle came from behind to defeat Caley Thistle 2-1 at Firhill.

Miles Storey gave the visitors the lead, but Partick Thistle restored parity three minutes before the break through Kris Doolan.

However, it was the host Stevenson’s dead ball strike at the death secured victory for Dumbuya’s Thistle.

They face Kilmarnock next Saturday as they look to build on their win over Inverness CT.
