Sohag sporting club Sierra Leone defender, Abdul Sama Mannah in the photo (second front row) knows exactly what he is aiming for his side when the Egyptian division two playoff kick off next month.
The Green and Yellow are second on the league table; a victory for Sohag next will see them take the top spot from Aluminium Naq Hammadi, who are leading with just 1 point.
They made a strong start in the division and now looking to benefit for all their efforts.
Abdul Sama Mannah told footballsierraleone.net they are battle ready for the challenge awaits them.
“I don’t see any reasons why we shouldn’t be up there and challenging for promotion,” said Mannah.
“We are in good form and have won 13 league matches out of 22 – draw five and lose only four.
“I know it is going to be tough in the playoff, but I am very sure we are capable because we want to play in the Egyptian top flight next season.
“I believe in our coaches and my teammates, we are all determined to get promoted,” said the 22-year-old.
Mannah joined Sohag sporting club on September 18, 2014 after a spell with Medeamaa Sporting club in Ghana.
