FC Kallon midfielder Abu Bakarr Suma has opened up on his move to IK Frej Täby in Sweden.
The Superettan side in partnership with FC Kallon last November signed the youngster on a two-year deal as they bid to strengthen their defensive midfield ahead of the new season.
“Suma is a very exciting young player and we are very excited to bring him to the club. A very good player with basic qualities and has a tremendously strong physical ability, Bartosz Grzelak has said of Suma on the club’s website.
Suma, 20, speaking to footballsierraleone.net for the first time indicated that he’s strong-minded and ready to prove himself and have expressed his delights about his move to Sweden.
“Obviously I’m happy with the new challenge and ready to work hard ahead of the new season. I was also very happy to hear that the deal had gone through.
“Thanks to everyone that makes it possible, am grateful. This is my first opportunity as a professional and I hope to take it to the next level in my career, Suma said.
“I want to assure the fans I will give 100% week in week out and I won’t shirk from a tackle, I will be giving it my all.
“That obviously relates to my upbringing and where I am from. There’s a lot of hard work which I strongly believe to bring into my new club.”
