Five shortlisted for Sierra Leone Player of the Year 2015


Five Sierra Leonean players are in the running to win 2015 player of the year Award.

Kei Kamara and Alhaji Andriano Kamara have been in blistering form for their respective clubs with Kei Kamara winning the MLS Eastern Conference cup scoring 26 goals in all competition while Adriano won the Swedish Allsvenskan with IFK Norrköping after rejoining the Swedish side in the second half of the season scoring six goals.

The other three nominees are Dinamo Minsk’s Umaru ‘Zingalay’ Bangura, Scotland-based Mustapha Dumbuya and Mohamed ‘Poborsky’ Bangura who has just moved to China.

The winner who is voted for by viewers of the website will be announced during an award ceremony in London on the 21st May 2016, and will receive a specially designed glittering trophy with his name written on it. Other prizes will also be given out during the ceremony.
