Former Bursaspor striker, Ibrahim Teteh Bangura is hoping that moving back to Europe will boost his chances as he aims to revive his career once again.
The Sierra Leone international believes now is the right time for him to return to active football, after a lengthy spell out with a kneecus injury.
“I cannot name my final destination, but I want to tell you I will be playing competitive football very soon, I have had offers from Sweden, Moldova, Cyprus, Egypt, Morocco, and Turkey, but I believe I will make the right decision best for me and my career,” he said.
His agent Patrick Mork also reiterated that “He (Bangura) is on his way to Sweden to join one of the Allsvenskan clubs,”
Ibrahim Bangura is well known in Sweden for his goals. In 2011 season, he scored 15 goals in 17 Allsvenskan appearances for AIK.
However, Bangura struggled at Bursaspor since joining from AIK in 2011 scoring six goals in thirty-four appearances.
He spent the second half of last season on loan to Turkish second tier league club Sanlıurfaspor and has also had a spell with Beitar Jerusalem before his return to AIK last year.
