Idriss Scott opens IFK Åmål account in Sweden

Tunde Idriss Scott (Pictured with team-mates) has opened his account for Swedish Division 4 side IFK Åmål on Thursday afternoon.

The big win moved them second in the Dalslands Football division 4 standings. (Photo: All scorers from the left: Saidu Fofanah, Vinicius Tessaro Schettino, Gabriel Amorim de Almeida, Idriss Scott and Lazar Martinovic.)

Scott, 23, who joined the Swedish side until the end of the season from AIK Freetong scored his first goal for the club in Amal’s 6-0 victory over Skarhamn on his full debut away from home.

Another Sierra Leone youngster Saidu Fofanah was responsible for the best goal of the match. He curls home a decent free kick from a distance of 30-35 metres in the keeper’s left cross.

The match was played at an almost new and perfect artificial turf pitch, which suited the technical ability of the away side.

The goals were evenly distributed among five players, which of course is strength in itself in head coach Conny Johansson side.
