Ghanaian Premier League club, Inter Allies have unveiled Sierra Leonean striker, Prince Barrie (pictured) together with Gambian forward Michael Touray at the club’s training ground, the Tema Sports Stadium on Monday.
The duo was introduced to their new teammates and the technical team before they started full workout with their new teammates.
Barrie joined the West African club from Sierra Leone top-flight side FC Kallon whilst Touray joined from Gambian Giants Real de Banjul and the pair are on an initial season-long loan deal with an option to buy.
The club’s Executive Director, Delali Eric Senaye, revealed that the pair who penned down a deal with the ‘Eleven Is to One’ club in December has been training with them a week ago before the official unveiling ceremony.
Eric Senaye told www.interalliesfc.com: “I’m delighted with how fast both players have involved themselves with the team.”
“They add strength and power to our attack and I’m looking forward to seeing them play well in the upcoming season. They’re talented players and will have the exposure to even develop better under our training system.”
In an exclusive interview with African Sports TV, Barrie said he was pleased with the move and he is looking forward to a new challenge in the Ghanaian league.
He said: “The move is great for me especially when there is no active football in Sierra Leone presently. I am pleased with the move and am looking forward to face the new challenge in Ghanaian football.
