That may not be what the Sierra Leonean international was hoping for when he accounted for his first league goal in Turkish Superlig helping his club to a 2-all draw away to Rizespor in October 2014.
But the Sierra Leonean midfielder and his Balıkesirspor side were hammered 5nil in front of their home fans hosting Bursaspor in their following match five days later.
Jabbie has been on the sidelines for almost two months and still struggling with the same shoulder injury that kept him out of Sierra Leone matches against Ivory Coast and DR Congo Leopards in the 2015 Nations Cup qualifiers.
The 22-year old midfielder told footballsierraleone.net, “Am happy with the experience, but with the team not doing well it doesn’t look so good.
“We’ve had a change in our squad from the squad that qualified the team to the top flight; the chemistry is not there which makes it hard.”
Balıkesirspor will host Eskişehirspor at the weekend with a hope of turning their season around, both sides played to a 2-all draw in their first meeting.
Balikesirspor are five points from safety anything without a victory means more worrying aspect and they could be set for relegated.
