Kaikai brace in vain as Shrewsbury draw

Sullay Kaikai continued his rich vein of form against Bury away from home, the Shrewsbury striker taking his personal tally to 9 goals as he struck in twice in the 16th and 33rd minutes in the first half.

It looked like Town had settled for a win after Sullay Kaikai twice put Town ahead on 16 and 33 minutes only for Tom Soares to head Bury level, then Peter Clarke to rescue the Shakers a deserved point.

The youngster’s brace is his first senior double and four in three games, nine goals for the season.

He resigned for Shrewsbury Town on loan for the rest of the season on March 1st, 2016.

Shrewsbury Town stretched their unbeaten run to eight, one defeat in 12 on their travels in the Sky bet League One.

Kaikai, who is still eligible to play for Sierra Leone express his delights after full time, he twitted: “Delighted to get a brace, good point away from home #9 Thanks be to God.”
