Following his arrival from Swedish side IFK Norrköping to the reigning Malaysian League Champions, Johor Darul Ta’zim FC Alhaji Adriano Kamara in photo made his debut on Saturday as the champions beat ATM 2-1 in the Malaysia Super League (MSL).
The Norrköping striker was introduced at the break but was not on the score-sheet, his fellow new acquisition Patricio ‘Patito’ Rodriguez, accounted for his first goal in 57th minute a trademark low shot into the bottom corner to give the home side a 2-1 win over ATM.
The former FC Kallon and Belvic United striker is expected to be in action again on Saturday away from home when they take on Singapore LIONSXII at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
The club fans, media and Darul Ta’zim technical team are all expecting the striker to strengthen JDT’s attack for the upcoming match.
The 20-year-old Alhaji ‘Andriano’ Kamara, who was transfer on Swedish deadline day, registered 10 Swedish League goals last season with IFK Norrköping
Alhaji Kamara signed for IFK Norrköping on a three-year deal. He moved to Sweden from FC Kallon on loan to Djurgården in 2012.
Meanwhile, Kamara said he joined JDT as he was impressed with the facilities here as well as the quality of the team.
