The 22-year-old who last year registered 14 top flight goals to help Orebro finish fifth place in the Allsvenskan has been sidelined since the start of the season due to “overloaded lower body injury”.
“I was told that the healing process has progressed, but the injury is not 100 percent healed, which for me means that I must continue to have patience, and be careful how I use my right foot. I cannot even jog, and must be careful how I put the foot down,” the striker told Swedish journalist Lasse WirstrÖm of NA. Se.
The former AIK striker was a huge success last season – attracted interest from top European clubs. Panathinaikos was amongst the suitors, a move that was confirmed by the player agent Patrick Mork.
