ASO Chlef are set to battle Kamboi Eagles twice in Chlef this month, in the CAF Confederation preliminary double header.
The Algerian dark horses ASO Chlef were scheduled to travel to Freetown for their second leg tie of the 12th Orange CAF Confederation Cup on the weekend of February 27 – March 1, 2015.
However, CAF maintained ban on matches on Sierra Leone’s ground over the recent Ebola crisis.
The Kenema giant Kamboi Eagles of Sierra Leone in consultation with Algerian Football Federation (FAF) will now host their Algerian counterpart in the city of Chlef at the Boumezrag Stadium.
Both clubs officials are expected to reach an agreement. The two sides will meet on Sunday February 15 1800hrs Algerian time for the first leg tie in Algeria.
Meanwhile, according to Eric Fomba one of the team’s Media Officer, there is no injury concern for Sierra Leone FA champions.
“Nothing to complain of in terms of injury, Head coach Alhaji Mohamed Foray alias Abedi is pleased with the team preparation and after today’s training he expressed delight saying the formation of the team is working.
Coach Abedi added “Victory is around the team and pray for the players especially Medo Janneh who controls the 4-1-4-1 system to be on his best come Sunday.”
