Alhaji M Foray alias ‘Abedi’ in photo has praised his sides showing in training on Wednesday ahead of the CAF Cup preliminary first leg tie away to ASO Chlef this Sunday at the Mohamed Boumezrag Stadium in Chlef.
He said: “To win here is going to be tough against a very good Algerian side.
“The team is well prepared and with a great team performance nothing is impossible in football.
“We have to focus on the two legs.” he told www.footballsierraleone.net from Algeria.
On the hospitality from their opponent – Abedi reiterated that “It will serves as an engine for more motivation thus set the platform for an emphatic victory over their host at the end.
He told Eastern radio news in Algeria that the warm reception accorded his team and the entire delegation cannot in anyway undermine their quest for victory and progress to the next stage of the competition.
Coach Abedi expressed satisfaction over the way his boys are adapting to his system of play remarking the only road to sweet victory at the end is passing through the path of hard work during preparations.
Abedi encourages the boys to stay through to their philosophy hard work and victory before likening then to a platoon of soldiers tasked with the mission to defend their motherland under the influence of no hesitation and focus.
However, the 2011 Algerian Champions, ASO Chlef want to take full advantage despite their poor domestic form.
The Sierra Leone FA Cup winners face a tricky contest playing both matches in the Algerian City of Chlef.
