Columbus Crew striker Kei Kamara has revealed his delight after his brace that guided his MLS side to sit third in their Eastern Conference table after a 2-1 victory on Sunday.
It is without a doubt the Sierra Leone international while staying hungry; he sheepishly admitted after the match that he’s having the best season of his career.
The Sierra Leone striker who notched his 17th MLS league goals against Colorado Rapids told footballsierraleone.net, “It’s all hard work and connecting well with my team-mates at the moment.
“For me, I want to keep scoring goals,” Kamara said.
“There are more games to play and many more goals and points to get. but I’m happy and ready to keep scoring goals as long as the team keeps producing.
The Lads are the provider, but it’s really all about those three points on the road. That’s huge.”
The Columbus will host New York City next in another intriguing encounter at their MAPFRE Stadium.
The win over the Rapids was certainly a huge one for Crew SC as the Eastern Conference play-off race remains tight.
