Sierra Leone and Columbus Crew striker, Kei Kamara was amongst the scorers in Crew’s seven-goal victory against London United in their pre-season clash in the Group Stage of the inaugural IMG Suncoast Pro Classic, hosted by IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
The 6-foot-3, Kamara as always adding offensive firepower and was superbly impressive.
Kei Kamara scoring his first goal of the preseason in the third minute, assisted by designated Player Federico Higuain before completed his brace in the 31st minute in its first two preseason matches.
Kamara believes is not easy to play against a team you know nothing about but maintained is always nice to be on the score sheet.
“It’s always nice to get a few goals in, so it definitely gets the fire blazing a little bit.”
“It’s never easy, playing against teams that you don’t really know anything about,” Kamara said after the match.
“For us, it was really just to continue to play the way coach wants us to play.
14 days from today, Kei Kamara is expected to line-up for the Black & Gold’s 2015 opener in Houston on March 7.
