Kei Kamara was voted as the MLS best Player for Week 28 by the North American Soccer reporters (NASR) on Tuesday.
The Columbus Crew forward claimed his third award of the 2015 season.
Kei, 31, leads the League with 20 goals this season after notching a brace in Crew’s 2-1 win at the Philadelphia Union over the weekend.
History: The Sierra Leone striker also joined an illustrious list of great Major League Soccer goal scorers to hit 20 goals in a season.
In doing so, he became just the 16th player in the MLS to hit 20 goals
“Actually I’m just blessed and working hard is the key,” Kamara told footballsierraleone.net following the announcement.
The former Middlesbrough striker was previously named Player of the Week in Weeks 12 and 23.
