* Columbus Crew to open MLS season away to Houston Dynamo March 7, 2015 BBVA Compass Stadium.
Kei Kamara is relishing the opportunity to launch Columbus Crew 2015 MLS campaign with a bang next Saturday March, 7 at the BBVA Compass stadium.
Speaking ahead of his side’s ‘Columbus Crew’ opener against Houston Dynamo the 30-year-old former Kansas City striker told www.footballsierraleone.net that is just another chance to prove worthy for the Black and Gold and to make history.
“As always the first game is just a reminder of the start and a chance to make history.
“I’m enjoying my time since my return, we have been working hard as a team this pre-season, and we are looking forward to face Houston Dynamo.
“I personally excited, I can’t wait to play my first game back in the MLS and it will be a good opener against one of my former clubs.
“Am expecting to play and help the team as much as possible as the coach allows me to start or come on from the bench, either way I would be ready. But I’ve been working really hard.”
Kei has been delighted with his progress in recent weeks scoring couple of goals in pre-season.
The Black and Gold are putting a lot of faith in the Sierra Leone striker, who has a very good scoring record in the MLS.
Kamara scored 52 goals in 193 games, an average of a goal every four games in his first stint.
The 6-foot-3 – can be deadly in the air and has proven to be very good, is likely to be the central attacker playing above team mate Federico Higuain.
