Kei on target again as Columbus overcome Chicago Fire 3-1


Kei Kamara continued his scoring streak as Columbus Crew saw off their league rivals 3-1 on Sunday at MAPFRE Stadium.

Sierra Leone striker Kei Kamara fired home his fourteen MLS leading league goal of the season as Columbus Crew defeated 10 men Chicago Fire yet again.

Federico Higuain scored from a spot kick for Columbus in the second minute, and David Accam tied it for Chicago on a free kick in the ninth.

The 6ft 13in Kamara who is in the All-Star team that is set to face Tottenham on July 29, 2015 put the host ahead in the 17 minutes with a towering header.

Chicago’s Jason Johnson was red-carded for a dive early in the second half, leaving the Fire with 10 men, and Ethan Finley capped the scoring for Columbus in the 83rd minute.
