David Simbo (pictured) says he is “desperate” to make his FC Krumkachy Minsk debut in tomorrow’s away derby but the 6 ft 3 inch Sierra Leone defender is not sure about his selection.
Simbo is hopeful head coach Oleg Dulub could hand him his debut at the SOK Olimpiysky Stadium. He was a substitute in their opening two matches of the 2016 campaign.
The former Al Hilal defender is facing the prospect of going into a very tough away contest to a very difficult side in the Belarusian top flight division.
The former Boden defender who joined the newly promoted Belarusian club on a one-year deal for an undisclosed fee is now waiting patiently to make his debut for his new side.
“I’m desperate but waiting patiently to make my debut because I’ve been working so hard trying to convince the manager in a bid to get myself into the first team.
“I want to introduce myself to the fans. Hopefully, this Sunday as I was on the bench in our two previous matches.
“It has been difficult for me because I signed almost after the team’s preseason camp,” the 26-year-old told footballsierraleone.net
FC Krumkachy Minsk going into Sunday’s’ tie in sixth position four points from two matches and they’re looking to maintain their unbeaten run so far in the Vysheyshaya Liga.
