North American Soccer League defending champions strengthened their title credentials after beating Miami 3-0 at their FIU Stadium in Florida on Sunday.

The Cosmos and the Carolina RailHawks are both on 12 points from six matches but Cosmos ahead on goals.

Sierra Leone international Michael Lahoud inspires in midfield as Cosmos took a deserved lead in the 18th minute Juan Arango opening the scoring for the visitors.

In the 34th and 50th minutes, Gabriel Farfan and Jairo Arrieta sealed a massive away victory as they look to restore supremacy in the NASL division.

Lahoud, 29, who has spent the first six years of his career in Major League Soccer (MLS) split between Chivas USA and the Philadelphia Union is enjoying his football in New York.

The Philadelphia Union midfielder Joined Cosmos on loan for the rest of the season has played every game so far in this campaign, they will face Edmonton next Sunday in another tricky contest.
