Leone Stars unchanged in FIFA rankings

_20151105_131057Leone Stars remain 121st in the latest FIFA world ranking released today 5th November.

Sierra Leone was eliminated by Chad from the 2018 World Cup preliminary round of qualifiers on away goal, despite coming from behind to complete a 2-1 victory.

The national team’s position is unchanged in the global Coca-Cola rankings, leaving them 37th in Africa.

Ivory Coast are top in Africa CAF – and 22nd in the world – followed by Algeria (26), Ghana (30), Cape Verde (32), Senegal (39), Tunisia (41), Cameroon (51), Congo (52), Guinea (53) and Congo DR (55).

Meanwhile, Belgium have overtaken Germany in the rankings as they surpass the world champions by two points (1 440 points).

The next global Coca-Cola ranking will be published on 3rd December 2015.
