Maccabi Haifa boss Marco Balbul has praised the form of his Bolton loan midfielder Mohamed “Medo” Kamara in photo.
The Sierra Leone international was brilliant in Haifa’s 1-0 win Hapoel Sheva controlling the mid-field their first home win in Marco Balbul’s era.
The 27-year-old has been in a blistery form helping his new side sealed a 1-0 victory against Hapoel Sheva last weekend. The greens displayed a good game and dominated throughout most of the game and finally found the desired goal deep in injury time.
Manager Balbul’s who knows Medo very well from their time in Belgrade said. “I think Kamara and Eliran Atar contributed a lot. Maccabi Haifa played correctly, we played like a team. But, yet, we still have to improve.
“We are really delighted with what he “Medo” has produced on and off the pitch. He is a man on a mission I would suggest because he hasn’t had a lot of football in the last couple of months or so.
“He just wants to play, and every time he gets into full gear, in the middle of the pack, you always sense something is going to happen. his ability of passing the ball is great.
Medo was also in action in mid-week in front of his home fans, but Maccabi was held to a 1 all draw.
Medo Kamara, the first signing for Marco Balbul in the January transfer window and is expected to feature in their crunch encounter today against Maccabi Petah Tikva FC at home.
