Sierra Leone midfielder Mohamed Medo Kamara may play his first game for HJK Helsinki since rejoining from English Championship side Bolton Wanderers against IFK Mariehamn at Sonera Stadium on Saturday, April 2.
The Sierra Leonean played for HJK in the Finnish top flight between 2007 and 2010, where he was voted Veikkausliiga Player of the year in his final year at the club.
But, this weekend will see the start of a new football chapter for the former Partizan Belgrade midfielder Kamara, who is desperate to prove himself after a disappointing spell that almost stalled in England due to lack of game time underboss Neil Lennon.
The 28-year-old departed Bolton Wanderers in January after a mutual agreement was reached.
Kamara skippered Sierra Leone in their first international friendly since the country was declared Ebola-free and was part of the Leone Stars side that defeated Gabon 1-0 in Freetown on Easter Monday.
