Africa football body, CAF has delegated Moroccan referees to take charge of the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup first leg qualifier between Algerian side ASO Chlef and Sierra Leone FA winners Kamboi Eagles.
The two sides will lock horns for the first time at the Mohamed Boumezrag stadium in the city of Chlef on Sunday February 15, 2015. The Stadium could possible host the second leg scheduled in a week’s time.
Redouane Jiyed, 35, will be assisted by Issam Benbaba and Mabrouk Youcef while Hicham Tiazi, also Moroccan, is the fourth official.
The second leg will now be move forward that is according to the Kamboi Eagles head of media Issmile Sesay.
“A bilateral meeting concluded between the two club’s officials have agreed to bring forward the second leg fixture next Friday February 20, instead of 29, 2015 after the first leg on Sunday. The decision already communicated to CAF and the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA).” Sesay told www.footballsierraleone.net
Mauritian referees will officiate the second leg fixture. Center man – Amadou Thiam, will be assisted by Warr Abdourrahmane, Chikhna Demba Boubou and Kelly Abderrahmen is the fourth referee.
