Mustapha Bangura scores first goal for Aris Limassol

Former AEK Larnaca and Apollon Limassol forward Mustapha ‘Haji’ Bangura (pictured) scored his first goal for Aris Limassol in Sunday’s 2-1 win away from home against AEL Limassol.

Bangura, who is one of the club’s twelfth signings in the summer break the deadlock in the 29th minute before Markos Maragoudakis completed the victory.

The 26-year-old is the second Sierra Leonean player to sign for Aris Limassol after Gibrilla Julius Woobay who joined them on a season loan from Romanian side Universita Craiova.

Aris have now moved to tenth of the Cyprus top flight, amassing seven points from eight matches.
