Mustapha Dumbuya makes debut for Partick Thistle

Sierra Leone international Mustapha Dumbuya was handed his debut for Scottish Premiership side Partick Thistle on Saturday.

Dumbuya, 28, played full 90 minutes in Partick Thistle 1-0 defeat to Dundee United at their Firhill Stadium.

Dumbuya almost assists his side with a goal after his cross for Stevenson hit the woodwork.

Seven games into the SPFL Premiership season and Alan Archibald’s side have conceded 10 times.

They are rooted at the bottom of the table and still looking for their first win of the season.

The former Notts County right back Dumbuya was out of the AFCON 2017 qualifier for Sierra Leone against Ivory Coast due to new club commitments.

The experienced defender joins Maryhill side last week in a one-year deal as a free agent.
