Orebro SK have confirmed striker Alhassan Kamara (Pictured in front) will miss the remainder of the season due to ongoing injury.
“I do not expect him to play this season, but he’s running and jogging a bit now, says the team coach Alexander Axen to NA.
Kamara, 22, is still suffering from a stress fracture on one lower leg that was diagnosed in March this year by the club’s doctor.
A further scan confirmed the damage is more severe that has kept him out of active football in this season’s Allsvenskan campaign.
“It’s bitterly disappointing for the club and my team-mates but even more so for myself,” Kamara told footballsierraleone.net
“But this is something that will only make me stronger; I was clearly enjoying my football.”
Without Kamara, Orebro SK is currently on the relegation place, they were defeated 6nil by IFK Goteborg on Sunday this week.
Alhassan ‘Crespo’ Kamara was Orebro most outstanding striker last season scoring 14 goals in 14 games. But is yet to play a single game this season and his side are second from bottom.
