Sierra Leone international defender Alie Sesay was in action for Leicester City at the King Power Stadium hosting Manchester United’s U21 side with key stars Robin van Persie and Jonny Evans in a 1-all draw on Monday.
The foxes U21’s skipper Sesay put up an impressive display against a strong and talented side from United as Rafael, Jonny Evans, Tyler Blackett, Adnan Januzaj and Robin van Persie all starting the game.

The 21-year-old said on twitter just after the match “Great result tonight against Man United, boys dug in and were unlucky not to nick it, great experience playing against Van Persie.”
The young star made his debut for Sierra Leone against Cameroon in Yaoundé, the match ended goalless at the Ahmadou Ahidjo in the 2015 African nations Cup qualifiers was very instrumental in the heart of Leicester defence.
Dutch striker Van Persie has been out of action with an ankle injury since February.
United started with seven first-team experience and will be disappointed they failed to secure all three points when James Wilson spurned a late opportunity to break the deadlock. On balance, however, a draw was probably a fair result.
