Nathaniel Chalobah, (Pictured) who is still eligible to play for Sierra Leone has warned his England Under-21 squad-mates to keep away from the pain of crashing out of the Euros at the group stage later tonight.
The Three Lions youngsters are second in Group B and they face Italy Wednesday evening, knowing that a win will take them into the semi-final.
The 20-year-old told FA website, “After being in the last tournament and the pain we experienced after not winning a game, me, Jack Butland and Nathan [Redmond] try to pass on as much as we can to the lads.
“It wasn’t very nice, so we try and let the lads know how much it hurt us and we don’t want to feel that way again.
“It was my first time in the U21s squad and it was our first game in the tournament against Italy.
“With three points in the bag, if England can repeat their victory against Sweden from Sunday, then they will be through to Saturday’s semi-final.”
The odds are in favor of England even a draw could be enough to progress into the European U12 Championship semi-finals.
