Sierra Leone maintains 88th in May World football ratings

The Leone Stars of Sierra Leone have maintained their position in the latest Coca-Cola FIFA World Rankings released on Thursday May 7, 2015. The senior national team of Sierra Leone maintained their previous points of 383 as the points that rank them in 88th position in the May FIFA rankings.

The Leone Stars are also still placed in 23rd position on the African continent ahead of Morocco, Angola, Malawi and Benin.

Meanwhile, Algeria is Africa’s number one. The Desert Foxes are closely followed by current AFCON champions, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Tunisia and Senegal.

Cape Verde, Guinea, Cameroon and Congo make up the top 10 best football playing countries on the continent.

The world ranking remained unchanged as Germany continues to lead the way ahead of Argentina, Belgium, Colombia, Brazil and the Netherlands.
