Sierra Leone midfielder Abdul Sesay extends contract with OPS
Sierra Leone international, who plays for Finish third tier side Oulun Palloseura (OPS), has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
The 25-year-old joined the club on December 16, 2014, after his excellent form with former club Atlantis.
Sesay told footballsierraleone.net: “I’m pleased to sign for another year; hopefully, I can help the team gain promotion. He said. “It’s another great opportunity to be part of this excellent football club in Finland,”
The Leone Stars midfielder, who has six caps to his name, favours playing in midfield as a playmaker.
He has scored two goals since making his debut for Sierra Leone against Ivory Coast in Nigeria in the African Cup of Nation’s qualifiers on September 6, 2015.
The playmaker has played 92 times for Atlantis and OPS scoring 24 goals since 2012.
OPS finished fourth in the 2015 Kokkenen standings.
