John Keister’s side moved closer to face Algeria after playing goalless in their first leg encounter, meaning they can qualify on the away goals rule.

But when asked if the qualification was already in the bag, the FC Johansen striker was optimistic but cautious.

“No, I don’t think so,” Barrie told footballsierraleone.net.

“We are playing away from home without our fans and so we needed react positively”

“It was a massive draw. Although in the first leg we came all out to get a victory, but we will have to correct out mistake ahead of our next game.”

Barrie said they are going to the match with one mind as a team to win and “not take anything for granted against them”.

“We will come out with something good to win the game”, he continued.

“Our determination will see us through, we want to bring them down.”

Sierra Leone will for the first time qualify to the third round of this competition to face Algeria should they finish the job away to Cameroon.

The 2015 CAF U-23 Championship qualifying rounds will decide the participating teams in the 2015 CAF U-23 Championship, a youth football tournament organised by CAF for the under-23 national teams of their member associations.

A total of eight teams will play in the final tournament, to be hosted by Senegal from 5-19 December.

Eight teams will compete in Senegal with the top three sides qualifying for the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil.
