Former AIK striker and Sierra Leonean international Alhassan ‘Crespo’ Kamara scored his first Allsvenskan 2016 goal as he helped Örebro SK to a 3-1 away victory over Helsingborg on Thursday.
Kamara played the full time 90 minutes and got his side’s third goal.
The 23-year has been backed by manager Alexander Axen to have a big impact this season after missing out the entire 2015 Allsvenskan season due to a lower-body injury.
“I’m back in business,” he said. “It always feels good to score for self-confidence. But the most important thing was the away win.” A delighted Kamara told footballsierraleone.net
Örebro’s manager was also happy after seeing his side registered their first victory of the campaign after losing their opening fixture to Djurgården in the 2016 Swedish top flight league last Sunday.
“Obviously delighted with the win after our first defeat, but was more happy about Kamara’s fitness – he is a top player for us and hope he stays fit to help the team,” Axen was quoted as saying.
The manager was more focused on his side performance and wants to see continuous improvement.
Örebro SK takes on Jonkopings Sodra on Monday as the hoping to make it two straight wins.
