Sierra Leone to host their West African counterparts the Ivory Coast in Abidjan, the Ivorian Football Federation announced on Thursday.
However, according to Sorie Ibrahim who is the head of Competitions of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) it is not yet official.
The current Ebola outbreak has left nearly 5,000 dead, between the three West African states of Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.
Sierra Leone miserably languishing at the foot of the standings in the group will host Ivory Coast 14-15 in November 2015 before playing away in DR Congo on the 19 November 2015 in their last qualifying match.
Is a must win game for both the Leone Stars and the Elephants. The Ivorians were stunned in their backyard by DRC Leopards 4-3 and Cameroon defeated Sierra Leone 2-0 in Yaounde earlier this month.
The Leone Stars of Sierra Leone is the only team without a win in the group and according to the standings only a win in Abidjan will resurrect any hopes.
Meanwhile, there is still uncertainty about where the 2015 edition of the prestigious continental tournament will be held, initially slated for Morocco from January 17 to February 8.
