Host Sierra Leone have registered their first point of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign 0-0 on Saturday at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé, what will be seen as a productive draw considering all the uncertainty surrounding the National team.

The In-form Cameroon struggled to break down a stubborn Sierra Leone as they played to a goalless draw in Group D. However, Cameroon maintained their unbeaten run in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and still top of the group. The Lions of Cameroon will host Sierra Leone on Wednesday October 15 at the same ground, Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaoundé.
Because of the Ebola outbreak, CAF decided that both matches will be played in Cameroon. So Sierra Leone does not get a home game in this fixture.
The Leone Stars, who lost their first two Group G qualifiers against The Ivory Coast and DRC Leopards last month, have put themselves on the board in the standings if they can take maximum point next Wednesday.

Sierra Leone Sport Ministry appointed Coach Atto Mensah named the starting eleven for the match but it was John Ajina Sesay the Football Association coach that takes charge of the qualifier first leg.
Volker Finke was forced to make few changes in his starting line-up with Bedimo, Kom start the game instead of Mandjeck. On the other Sierra Leone showed lots of enthusiasm against the young Lions. Despite thrashing the Ivory Coast they still have much to do in establishing themselves in the big stage.
Both Nations will lock horns again on Wednesday at the same stadium and Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Meanwhile, CAF has said there will be no changes to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations schedule dates despite a request from hosts Morocco to postpone.
Morocco’s government wants the Confederation of African Football to delay the 17 January to 8 February event because of the Ebola outbreak.
