The much anticipated Kenya v Sudan-friendly scheduled for today Friday 27 May 2016 has been postponed to Tuesday next week following a request from the Sudanese Football Association.
The game was due to take place in Nairobi at the Moi International Sports centre Kasarani but Sierra Leone’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations opponent Sudan cannot make it to Nairobi on time for kick-off.
“It is true the Sudan F.A has requested that the match is moved to Tuesday, May 31, 2016, as the earliest they can arrive in Nairobi is tomorrow,” said FKF CEO Robert Muthomi.
Both nations will be in action in next week’s 2017 qualifiers.
The Falcons of Jediane will test against a Kenya side that will also battle Congo Brazzaville on June 5 in Group E, both nations are using today’s contest as groundwork’s for their AFCON matches.
