Sierra Leone and Crystal Palace youngster Sullay Kaikai has been awarded the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for October in League One after a string of excellent performances.
Kaikai, 20, has been brilliant since joining Shrewsbury Town on loan scoring his fourth goal against Bury for Micky Mellon’s side a week ago.
The striker has taken to twitter to appreciates everyone that made it possible for this award, he tweeted: “Words can’t describe how happy and honoured I am to receive league 1 player of the month. Thanks to everyone for the massive support.”
He has gone from strength to strength in his development, Kaikai, who came through Crystal Palace’s youth ranks has already enjoyed loan spells at Crawley Town and Cambridge United.
Kaikai is desperate for first team action in Alan Pardew’s Premier side next season.
